Green Fuse is a literary blog focussing on reviews, poetry and creative fiction and non-fiction, written by me- Justin, a Sussex-based writer and English teacher.

This is a new project and the main aim is to force me to write regularly and get better at it - hopefully providing entertainment and interest to others alongside this!

The title "Green Fuse" comes from the Dylan Thomas poem "The force that drives the green fuse drives the flower". In this poem, Thomas marries the destructive images with the life-giving ones, and violent images with the healing ones - ultimately offering, to me, a very grounding and comforting notion of the cycles of natural life. Also it sounds good as a title.
